As Navajo businesses reopen, federal business formal visits

Ashkai Baa LaFrance-Chachere experienced often dreamt of proudly owning a beauty retail outlet on the Navajo Nation. That aspiration arrived legitimate in 2020 with the opening of Ah-Shi Splendor shop in Window Rock. 

The shop loved about two months of normalcy before the pandemic strike and on March 17, 2020, she and other Navajo compact company homeowners shut their doors. She had also opened a magnificence studio and gift store in Gallup, New Mexico, but that spot remains shut and won’t be opening at any time quickly.
